Associate - Audit and Tax

Responsibilities

• completing audit assignments

• liaise with clients on limited aspects of audit engagements

• computation of corporate taxes and preparation of tax returns

• work closely with team members and respective team leaders

• perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• possess at least a diploma (no formal accounting background is expected as on-the-job guidance will be provided)

• good grades in SPM mathematics, additional mathematics, physics or any other quantitative subjects such as finance or economics (at any level with sufficient mathematical content) for those without any knowledge or experience in accounting

• fresh school leavers (SPM holders) with good grades in additional mathematics and/or physics are also encouraged to apply

• proactive, meticulous and have an eye for details

• ability to follow instructions and to work independently

This is a full time post requiring one to work from Monday to Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour break in between).
